Year 1
As children progress into Year 1, the foundations of learning are built upon further and children are taught the knowledge and skills described by the National Curriculum through exciting learning topic experiences supported by quality text and challenging activities to promote the skills of becoming competent readers, writers, mathematicians and subject experts by acquiring new knowledge which is built on through carefully planned knowledge organisers for each National Curriculum subject area. Learning activities are revisited across the year and are part of South Farnham Educational Trust's Medium Term Planning. The school’s values; Respect, Resilience, Creativity and Collaboration are further developed and combined with the Golden Rules and British Values in the continual pursuit of excellence.
