Spring Update 2

This half-term in Computing, we have been exploring how to use computers to make pictures. We loved using the spray-paint tool in Paint to create art work using lots of dots.  Many of us chose to imagine ourselves on the beach and used the different colours and spray tool to make the sea and sky.

In Art, we have tested our Resilience making very delicate and fragile Faberge style eggs, using water balloons, tissue paper, shredded paper and beads.  The first part was very messy, but our eggs dried well and then came the fun part of trying to get the beads and paper to stick in a decorative form! They are displayed in our book corner, so please take a look next time you are in school.

Our Science lessons, have come to an exciting end with an experiment to test everything we had learnt about the properties of materials.  We tested different elastics and were able to use our chosen elastics to create a catapult like the one we learnt about in RE when we read the parable of David and Goliath.
