What a great start to a brand-new year! The children have been reading the story 'George and the Dragon', and have been learning how to write a letter to persuade a brave mouse to come and live in a Princess' castle.

In Maths, we have been learning about addition and subtraction, and have been applying the methods that we learnt in the Autumn term to solve and check calculations.

Science this half-term had us investigating the properties of different materials.  We have been testing if different objects can bend, twist, stretch or be squashed and then applying our knowledge of the properties to explain the results.
