Intent

The intent follows our strategic focus, the "continual pursuit of excellence". Our enabling environments and positive relationships support the needs of the unique child to meet and exceed the early learning goals and is ambitious for all children. Our broad and balanced EYFS curriculum allows children to gain skills, knowledge and understanding as they start out on their educational journey and begin to build a love for learning.

Reception Classes

There are 2 Reception classes which have their own unique class layout and a combined shared area. The Early Years Foundation Stage environments boast a calm, purposeful and outstanding learning space which provides opportunities for child initiated and adult facilitated learning activities. The designated learning areas ensure a free flow approach to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the nurturing and caring adults provide warm and secure relationships to better understand your child and make their first time at ‘big’ school the very best it can be. Children are introduced to the ‘Golden Rules’, the British Values and learn through the school’s values:
