At 11am Today, instead of a one-minute silence, we clapped for one minute to show our respect and pay tribute to our Ukrainian friends. The resilience that the people of Ukraine have shown is humbling. Resilience and Respect are two of our school values and this moment today helped the children to see how these are fundamental for life.

We also shared a video with the children to help them understand the plight of the Ukrainian refugees (over 4 million of whom being children).
