It was wonderful to see all of our children and staff in jeans today.  Thanks to your donations we raised nearly £160 which will go straight to @jeans_for_genes . 

The children had an assembly earlier in the week to help them understand about genes and how some people (including children) have a genetic condition that affects their lives. The children showed fantastic respect and empathy in their learning. We read a book called 'This is Me', by George Webster, to help deepen their understanding.  We learnt how "extra sparkle" can make us all different.  Thank you for your generosity and wishing you a happy weekend.
