We welcomed the children back with an exciting visit to the Milestones Museum. 

Children experienced a glimpse into the life of a Victorian child through the toys and games experience. They all thoroughly enjoyed these! We were all fascinated by the museum and all there was to see there, especially the old vehicles! A great trip to start the term!

Back at school, we have been busy working on writing a colour poem, a counting poem, and introducing a play script. We have also been practising using capital letters for proper nouns and spelling the days of the week. 

In Maths, we have been learning to solve problems involving money, the names and some features of 3D shapes, and counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s. 

We have also been looking at still life art and the painting style of Van Gogh, learning to create digital content with the iPads, comparing Japan and England for Geography, learning to use the apparatus safely and develop skills for tennis as part of PE and Games, and learning about everyday materials as part of Science.
