Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to help improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. Schools receive £1,515 per pupil for children from low-income families who are currently eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or who have been eligible at any point in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure).
Funding is also provided for other eligible groups, including £350 per pupil for children from service families and £2,630 per pupil for children who have left local authority care through adoption, a special guardianship order, or a child arrangements order.
At Busbridge Infant School, we believe that every child should have the best opportunity to excel and thrive. Pupil Premium funding enables us to support pupils who may face disadvantage by ensuring they have access to high-quality teaching, pastoral provision and a broad range of enriching experiences. We hope for every child to achieve their full potential during their time at our school.
Our dedicated leader for Pupil Premium is Mrs Chalk who can be contacted via the school office. However, all staff work collectively to ensure disadvantaged pupils benefit from high-quality provision and achieve positive outcomes.
