Meet the Team

A friendly hello from the Woodland School Team!

From left to right;

Mrs M. Butterfield. Woodland School Teacher.

I have many years of teaching experience in which I have led on Science and outdoor learning. Having recently become a Level 3 Forest School Leader I feel very lucky to be leading Woodland School here at Busbridge Infant School. I have a love of the outdoors, Science and particularly the wonder of nature. I am passionate about inspiring in children a joy, interest, and appreciation of nature and the environment.

Miss A. Walker. Woodland School Teaching Assistant.

Having grown up surrounded by woodland it was hard for me not to fall in love. I continued to better my understanding of the outdoors by completing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award whilst being a member of Guides. I am enjoying being part of creating outdoor experiences for the children here at Busbridge Infant school.

Mrs B. Saunders. Gardening Teaching Assistant.

After 18 years working in nature conservation, I am so excited to now be able to help nurture an interest in the natural world, supporting the children to grow and care for plants (and the wildlife that depend on them), and to spark an interest in how our food is grown. I am also the Eco-Team Coordinator.
