Spring Update 3

What a wonderful start to the half-term we have had and an amazing World Book Day!  We thoroughly enjoyed the Masked Reader competition and six members of Year 2 made great detectives using all the clues to correctly identify all three readers. 

Our chosen author was Rachel Bright.  We found out a little bit about her life and the books she read and then took a democratic vote to chose which book we wanted to listen to.  Currently, we are creating our own book cover and blurb for the chosen book we heard.  

In History, we are revisiting the Great Fire of London and building on our previous knowledge to really explore why this fire happened and how it has changed out lives today.  We are looking forward to the Fire Service coming in to talk to us more about fire safety in the next few weeks.
